I am an environmental studies(ENVS) and studio art major at Lewis and Clark College, graduating in 2020. In both fields, I am working at the intersection between art and social/environmental action. In ENVS, my topics of interest include in eco art, symbolic action, environmental justice, the Anthropocene, soil science, and agriculture. I am working on expressing my experience learning about these subjects through detailed oil painting and sculpture.

“I believe quite sincerely that in these difficult times we need more than ever to keep alive those arts from which [we] derive inspiration and courage and consolation-in a word, strength of spirit” -Rachel Carson 1999
